City Of Elsgadir

Beyond the borders of the forsaken Kingdom remains it's people within the City of Elsgadir. Without the reign and stability of the Eladrin court that once existed, the care of the city instead fell into the hands of a careless Reeve named Eduart Eastone, easily persuaded by rich goods. In turn, the tottering town heightened in crime levels; dark trades and guilds at the turn of every corner. Many of these are said to even bribe Eduart into their wicked schemes. With taxes at an all time high, the people of this territory starve and live in a world of fear, while his keep is luxurious in both life and company.

Few attempt to challenge the ways of Eduart, as he is as empty in consideration as he is in mercy, famed for his creative forms of reprisal.

One of the few establishments that are not levied in the city of Elsgadir is the Lost Shepherd Tavern and Inn. Its exemption lies in the simple fact that the keeper had purchased the unowned land hundreds of years former under an Aeren title. Since then, Eduart has been unable to place his ruthless tariff on the business and in turn, many commoners, peasants and travelers alike flock towards the establishment for a good pastime.

It's keeper goes by the name of Ivor Erling, a two hundred year old dwarf who is no stranger to the town's Reeve. Eastone, or his men, will frequent the estate at least every fortnight with a new ransom to purchase Erling's property. And with every rejection, a new thieves faction will soon pass through. One dwarf can only handle so many men, especially the stretched ones! Should any gamekeeper or broad lad looking for labor ask beseech recruitment, they might very well find it. Due to the high crime traffic, it is not uncommon for a patron to receive a request from Erling, often met with compensation. For this, many seek his alliance and strengthen the rivalry between the Inn keeper and the Reeve.
